If you're affected by sight loss, we're here for you. Through our Sight Loss Advice Service, vpi-aid offers support to blind and partially sighted people across the UK. We can help you to find the right assistive technology, support you in education and work, access financial help and much more. We're here to help you live the life you want.

Assistive aids and technology

At VPI-AID, we believe in the power of technology to assist people with sight loss to be independent, access information, grasp opportunities and to b​e creativ​e. We have lots of information to help you whether you are starting out or want more in depth help.

Money and benefits

If you're blind or partially sighted, there are benefits and assistance available to make life easier. We can help you check what benefits, concessions and grants you could be entitled to. We also have tips on how to manage your finances independently.

Education and learning

If you’re the parent of a child with vision impairments or a blind or partially sighted young person we have information and resources on education and learning to support you at every level.

Employment and Equality

We have resources to help you find employment or stay in your current job after a sight loss diagnosis. You can also find information on your legal rights and advice on how to challenge discrimination.

Supporting others

Find out how you can support friends, family and loved ones who have been diagnosed with sight loss. If you're a carer, parent or guardian, we have information on the benefits you could be eligible for and how you can access support.

Independent living
